    You may ask, however it’s not for sure that the lender will approve it. The lender usually pays only for seller’s closing cost, and agents commissions.

    Alex,

    Both of the answers above are good, but also try to ask your realtor to see if he/she and the sellers agent will help cover some of your expenses as well. If you’re not getting a loan, it should only be about $1000, anyways.

    You can ask, but 9 times out of 10 they will not pay any buyers concessions.
