I have a short sale offer in to Flagstar Bank. The person assigned was Anita Childs. I was just wondering if anyone had experience with this woman for a short sale? (I am the purchaser – not the seller so I can’t call her up to get status).

   The “loss mitigation” departments are a nightmare to deal with. Not because they are mean. They are swamped and understaffed. And they have to speak from a “script” so you never know if you are getting the truth.
   Cancel your short sale if they don’t close in 7 days. Too many great buys for you to deal with this silliness.
