I just bought a KB Home on foreclosure, how do I hook up my surround sound built into the house?
Filed Under Home Foreclosure | Comments Off
I just bought a foreclosure and it has the upgrade of built in surround sound speakers. It’s a KB home, only 2 years old. The owner obviously left no manuals behind. How can I get a manual on how to hook up my surround sound to the jacks in the wall? I contacted KB but not having any luck getting anyone helpful.
Thanks,
Anissa

How does home foreclosure work?

If you fail to make your mortgage payments, can the bank garnish your wages for the payments?Or do they just take repossession of the home and auction it off themselves? And if they just auction it and can’t sell it for enough to cover the remaining mortgage amount, can they come back and sue you for that, even if you no longer have access to the home?I’m asking because I need to know…if a person decided to deliberately stop making payments on their home mortgage because the home will not sell on the market quick enough and they have to move out of state, what are the repurcussions?(Besides bad credit)The goal is to just get rid of the house, regardless of the loss in profit from the sale of it, and regardless of how it will effect the homeowner’s credit. Please provide any information pertaining to this.

I made an offer on a home in short sale. My offer was for the asking price. The owner signed my contract, so it went to the bank for approval. One week later the bank comes back and gives me a counter offer for $35,000 more than the asking price.
The bank knows they are going to take a loss on a short sale. So don’t they agree to the asking price beforehand? And if they wanted so much more then why didn’t they ask for it in the first place? I need to buy soon and they wasted a whole week of my time. I know they technically didn’t do anything wrong but do I have a reason to complain, and if so who can I complain to? My realtor is so angry and he was talking about complaining to something called MRS (?)

Foreclosure/Short Sale advice?
Filed Under Short Sale Hardship | 3 Comments
I bought a condo 2.5 years ago in Michigan. The economy is so bad here right now and property is not worth what it was. I owe more then it is worth. I did an interest only, 0 down mortgage. I want out. I am about to be done with college and I think I may want to move out of state. I am very behind in my condo assoc. dues and they sent me a notice of lien. My place has been on the market for two months and I have only had one showing and they said that it was over priced, ha. I am trying to do a short sale. If that doesnt work that I want to try a deed in lieu (the place has to be on the market for 90 days from them to consider it). What I want is advice. I really don’t want to ***** myself with having a foreclosure but If the short sale doesnt work and the bank does not accept the deed in lieu, I may have to do foreclosure. Is this Lien going to hurt my plan? Any advice?

What are the financial reprecussions of a home foreclosure?

We thought the bank was working with us to approve a short sale on our home, but went ahead and foreclosed while telling us they weren’t. We know it is too late to fix it and to save our credit, but are wondering what the consequences financially (fees, taxes) are now.

Is it fair to deny victims of home foreclosure the right to vote?

The Republican Party, led by this crew of rich, out-of-touch “homies” is preparing to deny the right to vote to Midwesterners who have already suffered from home foreclosures.
